A garden for children. Color and imagination, a sense of depth, and layers of landscape. The language of adults becomes expression, and the diverse perspectives of children bring flexible energy to the space. There are moments between adults who do not like children and children whose thoughts remain unreadable to designers. Light flies in, flowers blur and spread, birds quietly blend in, and the space begins to shine. In the harmony of creation, nature’s foundation sets the rhythm, and the children’s garden sparkles above the floating buds of alliums. Time creates memories, and the cycle of seasons completes the symphony.

type _Perennial Garden
year _2024 Completion

The perennial garden reveals the colors of time through light and projects brief moments from the spectrum imagined by the Earth into the near future. The garden becomes tinted, and the forms of nature sway gently beyond the logic of irregularity. As butterflies fly in and bees come to rest, starlight may shine in the days to come, and when it rains, the colors will return again. When the moon becomes full, the shadow of a rabbit shapes beauty, and when the sun rises, a yesterday in a different color repeats itself. The butterfly returns, the bee hides the shadow of its wings, today a different flower blooms, and tomorrow the same flower will fall. Now the monsoon will begin.

A personal garden evolves through small group communication and the process of collective decision-making. As the game unfolds with different tastes and unfamiliar senses, the level of understanding about the nature of relationships determines the success of smooth decisions. Déjà vu moments overlap, unfamiliar imaginations take shape, and the designer’s desires create new tensions.
Yet the process of shaping a colorless language into a space of light stirs a quiet emotion in all participants. The garden reveals the seasons upon the land. The sense of time may deepen a feeling of emptiness, but it remains an enduring way of facing the world.

Contemporary landscape architecture is an imaginative process that transforms the identity of nature into a new illusion. People consume and possess, constantly desiring what is new and seeking the energy of tomorrow in the absence of boredom. Designers observe the cycles of nature, reflect on space, and discover new attitudes that must go beyond the conventional agreements of society.
Signature Landscape is a project built with a humble mindset to cultivate imagination and a creative idea aimed at offering new landscapes inspired by nature. The primordial landscape is reproduced as a refined image, and an alternative nature is staged on a platform. Sensation is once again consumed as illusion, recirculated as impulse, and will eventually fade as a volatile memory.

An old landfill site has been restored into an urban park. The industrial era reflects a history of human greed, ignorance of regeneration, and a relentless pursuit of capital. Though the ecological value of a park as a forest or a garden may hold limited potential for meaningful regeneration, it may still carry a creative rhythm if it stands as an attitude for public good and an expression of remorse. Humans perish, but nature circulates, and cities repeat their histories. Whether it is regeneration for coexistence, coexistence for self-sustenance, or a new interference born of isolation, values continue to affirm themselves. Yet a new cycle born of reflection may remain an empty medium.
